How Our 2021-2022 School Year Is Structured

 This year, we're having our school year split up into six smaller terms (six weeks on, one week off).  

The topics we'll be covering are (in rough and broad sweeping generalizations) as follow:

1. Post-Revolutionary war governmental setup through Louisiana Purchase

2. War of 1812, focus on many scientific and industrial inventions that took place

3. Westward Expansion, pioneers, Native American people groups ***this is the term that occurs right around the Christmas frenzy/slump, so it will likely bleed into the following term.

4. Gold Rush, Texas

5. Underground Railroad, reasons for southern secession,

6. Civil War  (This term is a little longer than the others.)

During the week off between terms, we will have an exam week.
