This is just a little place to write down a bit of our schooling journey.  I'll be sharing what a day looks like for us, some books we enjoy, some fascinating facts we're learning, and some things that....may not be working for us.  Because, realistically, there's always something.

We've been homeschooling since 2014, back before I read Charlotte Mason's works and thought that giving my oldest child a hearty start to preschool was absolutely necessary.

This year we'll have a sixth-grader, a third/fourth grader (who is perpetually confused about what grade he is in because he has a fall birthday that doesn't make the public school cutoff), two first graders, and a curious toddler.

We primarily use Charlotte Mason's methodologies for instruction and used Ambleside Online for several years.  However, I've always mixed up the "recipe."  The last two years, I basically ended up writing the curriculum for our kids, because of a few learning needs, and I realized how much I enjoyed it.

So this year I've done the same, with the help of many exceptional resources and Instagrammers.

I look forward to sharing moments both mundane and miraculous with you.
